HOMOSEXUALITY

My being a homosexual makes me feel comfortable with myself not because I have announced to the world that I am different, but my being a homosexual does not hinder me from achieving things that other people may have only dreamed of. I believe that homosexuality is not disease that slowly wiping out mankind. I know that we have also the rights and privileges to enjoy what our society and our government may offer.
Everyone of us does receive discrimination and I admit I eat a lot of it. A mere whistle makes me feel discriminated or guys shouting at me and calling me different names hurts me more. But I don't look at them, I don't give them attention and I don't even care. These people are just a bunch of a thing that needs attention and I should pity them because they don't know what they are doing. I am the one who has a wider range of understanding so I should pity them for they don't know what they are doing. I have to exude excellence like a real educated person should be.
I know that I acquire this lifestyle not from hereditary but from the environment. When I was two years old, my mother left for abroad to find means to support our family so I was left with the care of my Aunties. I imitate the things that they do because I thought that was normal. In short, I grew up in a world filled with lady things. When I was in elementary I assessed myself, I tried to be a straight boy but then and again the female side in me triumph!
If you think I know how to put some make-up and fix someone else's hair, I am sorry to disappoint you because I am more inclined to the world of humanities. I write poems, essays, short stories, sometimes I play the piano and other things that has something to do with the arts.
As what I have always say, homosexuality is not the issue, the more important is how good a person you brought up by your parents.
